Q1. Hello, CEO. Please give a brief introduction to the company.

MUHANIT is a software development company that processes, analyzes, and services spatial data. Roadview, which is serviced around the road, has a lot of real-life information, and our mission is to build low-cost/high-quality services.

Q2. What motivated you to start a business and what problems do you want to solve?

Although the spatial information industry has recently become the core technology of the 4th industrial revolution, spatial information technology is still focusing only on showing and serving data. The data that users actually need requires a variety of approaches, such as humanities and statistical approaches. We started a business to become a professional company that can serve these parts.

Q3. Please introduce the products and services.

MUHANIT's 3D-based road view service platform 'Meerkat' allows anyone to easily install road view equipment in their own vehicle and upload acquired road data to the platform. The acquired data will be processed through the Meerkat platform and will be provided for anyone to use in portal maps, autonomous driving, and public facilities. The Meerkat platform aims to 'share benefits to both producers and consumers' by providing financial returns to producers who acquire data and consumers with the latest monthly information at a reasonable price.

Q4. What is your future growth goal for the company or service?

By building Roadview as an open platform service, the goal is to generate profits for all three entities: self-driving drivers who produce information, producers such as taxi drivers, consumers who use the latest reliable roadview, and platform operators who serve it as a platform. Through this, we want to build a self-sufficient business model to grow and change the pie in the spatial information market.

The core technology we currently have is the foundation for entering various areas, and we want to expand our infinite information technology solutions into the B2B (enterprise-to-enterprise) area by incorporating them into areas that the private sector needs, such as smart construction. We are developing equipment that can acquire the conditions of roads and road pavement at once with low-priced equipment, and will enter overseas markets after securing stability in Korea.

Q5. How are the teams organized?

In order to prepare MUHANIT's meerkat platform, we formed a team of experts from various fields, including the platform business team, including planning, AI, drones, and 3D GIS.

We expect to use 3D-based data in various fields such as portal maps, autonomous driving, and public facilities through MUHANIT's platform 'Meerkat,' said CEO Bae Kyung-rok. "We will continue to make efforts to grow into a global platform as well as a digital twin."
